Welcome to Innomation.co.za. I am a designer/developer and my name is Kevin van Zanten. I have been in the website design industry now for almost 10 years and can definitely say that designing for the web is still one of the most satisfying ways for me to express myself.
I am currently working as a freelance web designer in Johannesburg - South Africa. I have worked on countless projects in my career with countless companies, all requiring their own unique image and identity to separate them from the rest of the fish swimming around in the ocean that is the internet. Moving from being employed to working freelance full time was a personal choice for me as having the ability to work on many different projects at once is rewarding and at the same time keeps my skills sharp.

Innomation Work Shop
The Work Shop is an area of this site where I discuss my experiments with animation and also Flash.
As a designer I believe that if you are not constantly trying to learn then your work will suffer as web technologies become outdated on an almost yearly basis.
I use the Work Shop as an area to showcase and discuss some of the new things I am learning to do so that visitors to my site can see what else I might be able to offer them in the future in terms of services. I discuss my techniques and approaches to certain projects in the hope that some designer, developer or animator out there might be able to learn something, even if it is just from my mistakes.
